Torn Hanging Hearts for Valentines Day

What a fun a way to have craft time with your toddler. Inspired by Valentines Day I wanted to do a craft that my toddler could get into. He loves to tear things up.

Things Needed:
Glue
Paint brush
Scrap paper (we used tissue paper, cup cake liners, butcher paper)
Few sheets of white paper
Scissors
Twine or yarn

Steps:
First we had fun crumbling and tearing all the scrap paper.

Using the watered down glue, glue the pieces to the sheets of plain paper. Let dry.

Then folding the paper over cut two hearts at a time. So they are the same size. Cut as many different sizes as you can.

While glueing the matching hearts togather place the sting directly down the middle. Making the bottom heart only have string through the top.

You can use these for anything and anywhere, they are great. You can make them longer for a garland or group them for a mobile like effect.

Let me know how you arranged them I love to hear from my readers
